Job Overview
As the Home Mortgage Loss Mitigation Decisioning professional, you will perform reconciliation on files received from the Front End Fulfillment Group, entering data into the loan system. The group will send tasks to Decisioning; you acknowledge receipt and review files for complete documentation.
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze property valuations to determine loss exposure.
Complete steps within the decisioning process workflow within assigned timelines to ensure maximum customer experience.
Handle inbound calls from customers with questions related to their specific workout process.
Ensure all regulatory requirements are met for each account within the workout process.
Assist management with forecasting pipeline volumes, loan losses, and delinquency based upon closed workouts.
Analyze financial information to determine the most effective workout strategy.
Review financial data reported for accuracy; e.g., does customer reported data match actual financials.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications And/or Other Professional Credentials
Required Qualifications
Strong understanding of mortgage lending guidelines (FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac).
Proficiency in automated underwriting systems Back in the Black (BITB).
Ability to interpret credit reports, income documentation, and appraisal reports.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or two years equivalent experience.
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday‑Friday
