Role Description This is a full-time role based in Charlotte, NC, with the opportunity for some remote work. As a Consumer Direct Loan Officer, you will assist customers through the mortgage application process, providing tailored loan solutions that meet their specific needs. Your responsibilities include evaluating customer financial profiles, offering loan product recommendations, managing applications, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and maintaining positive client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction. Collaboration with internal teams and staying updated on lending products and industry trends are also essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
Experience in mortgage lending, specifically with VA loans, Non-QM loans, and other loan products such as jumbo loans or FHA loans.
Strong financial analysis and loan evaluation skills, including familiarity with credit reports and applicant financial profiles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to guide clients and foster trust throughout the loan process.
Proficiency with loan processing tools, CRM systems, and standard office software.
Knowledge of mortgage regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
State-approved licensing to originate loans; additional licenses are beneficial.
A bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
