Position Overview:
We're seeking a creative, detail-orientedFashion Designerto join our team. This individual will help bring our brand vision to life from initial concept through final sample, with a strong understanding of fabrication, fit, and construction. You must have experience designing for women’s contemporary brands and working with overseas production (China/India preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
Design seasonal collections and capsules aligned with brand DNA
Create detailed technical sketches, CADs, and tech packs
Source and select fabrics, trims, and hardware
Collaborate with factories and sample rooms (primarily overseas) to ensure design execution and fit
Conduct fittings and revise designs as needed
Research trends, silhouettes, colors, and market competitors
Maintain design calendar and deadlines
Requirements:
5–8 years of experience in women's fashion design (contemporary)
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel
Strong technical knowledge in garment construction, fit, and patternmaking
Ability to create clear and accurate tech packs for overseas factories
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles area
Bonus if you have:
Experience with laces, suiting, draping, beading
