Tomorrow's most advanced automotive technology is being envisioned today at MOBIS Parts America (MPA). A subsidiary of Hyundai MOBIS, we are a top leading automotive parts supplier. MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.
Description The Inventory Campaign Support Specialist assists with a variety of tasks related to distribution of campaign parts, coordinating delivery dates for dealer back orders, and coordinating urgent orders with vendors. The Specialist supports the Special Planning department to provide the best possible service to HMA and KUS dealers. The position also assists with a variety of special projects related to Parts Supply.
Responsibilities
Coordinate order priority, allocation, and communication of campaign parts to dealers and suppliers (20%).
Expedite vendor purchase orders to minimize critical inventory and dealer back‑order situations (20%).
Coordinate campaign XVOR/UPER orders with Mobis Korea/Alabama, Call Center, and dealers (20%).
Maintain part master and purchase order data; develop tools to improve accuracy and efficiency in the supply group (10%).
Analyze and plan past campaign parts to target MOS to achieve fill rate KPIs (30%).
Provide ETA information, track shipment delivery, and communicate internally and externally with suppliers and customers.
Support campaign team communications with Korean suppliers and Mobis HQ, including translation of documents between Korean and English as needed.
Prepare and reconcile purchase orders for assigned parts on a regular basis, including air and sea orders, urgent air (VOR/XVOR) orders, initial/new model parts orders, and other special orders.
Communicate with MPA and OE management on issues and resolutions to improve customer service.
Follow up with suppliers and PDCs to expedite critical campaign shipments.
Maintain purchase order files and reconcile with suppliers regularly.
Maintain campaign logs to track visibility.
Review and recommend changes to the part master to ensure correct supply levels, supersession codes, and part control codes.
Support any ad‑hoc requests for analysis, information, or additional tasks.
Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Travel: Minimal (less than 5% per year).
Minimum Education Required: High School or GED.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related field is preferred but not required.
Korean language: Read, write, and speak Korean is required.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Experience with Word, PowerPoint, MS Access, or other SQL is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Excellent organizational skills (reports and timelines).
Flexibility and responsiveness to changing circumstances.
2 to 4 years of highly successful experience in Operations, Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or in any sophisticated, disciplined manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
Experience with inventory planning is required.
Demonstrated ability to identify problems/issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure positive results.
Certifications
APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) or other supply chain related certifications or affiliations (a plus).
Employment Type Exempt, Annual Salary
Compensation The expected hiring range for this position is $54,364.00 - $80,187.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
