You didn’t get into digital marketing to babysit dashboards and sit through meetings that should have been emails.
You want to own the outcome, not just the deck. You want clients who actually pick up when you call because you’ve earned their trust, not inherited a seat in a rotation. And maybe, just maybe, you want to get home before your kids go to bed.
Our team is small. Our standards are high. Our clients stay because the work drives measurable growth.
This role is your seat at a table where strategy isn’t filtered through six layers of approval. You’ll advise 3–5 clients directly, lead cross-channel planning, and have a real voice in how this agency grows. No pointless internal meetings. No billable-hour theater. Just sharp strategy, honest data, and clients who care about results as much as you do.
The commute is short, the work matters, and the path to leadership is measured in impact, not tenure.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
→ You’ll Be the Person Clients Call First You’re the strategic lead for 3–5 client accounts — the person business owners call when they need to understand what’s working, what’s not, and where to go next. You’ll run discovery sessions, lead quarterly planning, and present integrated strategies that connect data, paid media, SEO/AEO, content, and conversion optimization directly to revenue. You won’t hide behind dashboards. You’ll tell the story the data is trying to tell, and you’ll challenge assumptions when the numbers point in a different direction. → You’ll Orchestrate the Full Channel Mix You won’t be siloed into one platform. You’ll lead cross-functional strategy across the channels that matter most for each client — CTV, paid search, paid social, programmatic, SEO/AEO, content, and emerging tools when appropriate. You’ll partner with internal specialists to execute at a high level, ensuring every initiative ties back to business-level KPIs: qualified calls, retained cases, booked jobs, revenue growth. When something underperforms, you’ll catch it early and recommend the pivot before it becomes a problem. → You’ll Make the Data Mean Something GA4, CRM feedback loops, platform reporting — you’ll use all of it. But more importantly, you’ll translate it. Our clients are business operators. They care about: Return on ad spend Growth targets You’ll be comfortable sitting across the table and saying: "Here’s your cost per acquired customer. Here’s your return. Here’s what I’d change next quarter." Clarity and confidence matter here. → You’ll Help Us Grow — the Agency and the Accounts You’ll partner with leadership on select new business pitches and strategic audits, contributing performance insights and growth recommendations. You’ll spot expansion opportunities inside existing accounts. You’ll contribute to the case studies and thought leadership that attract the kind of clients worth having. This isn’t a churn-and-burn shop. Growth here is intentional, and you’ll help shape what it looks like. → You’ll Raise the Bar for the Whole Team You’ll mentor Digital Marketing Specialists, collaborate across ad ops, SEO/AEO, content, web dev, data ops, and creative. You’ll help refine how strategy is delivered across the agency, not just manage within the current system. We’re building something long-term. Your fingerprints should be on it. → You’ll Work with an AI-Forward Team This isn’t an agency that’s “exploring AI.” We’ve been investing in it since the early days, and every person on this team uses AI tools daily — for research, strategy development, content workflows, data analysis, and client reporting. We don’t view AI as a way to cut headcount. We view it as a way to give a growing team superpowers so you can produce sharper work, move faster, and spend your time on the thinking that actually matters. Curiosity and practical application matter more than hype. If you’ve been experimenting on your own because your current agency hasn’t caught up yet, you’ll feel at home here. And if you’re already fluent, you’ll have the support and flexibility to push further. Who Thrives Here
You’ve spent 5+ years in the agency world, and at least a couple of those years owning client strategy and relationships, not just executing campaigns planned by someone else. You’ve built integrated marketing strategies that drove measurable growth, and you can connect what happens in Google Ads or Meta to what happens on a P&L. You’re fluent in paid search, paid social, SEO/AEO, display, and video. You know your way around GA4. You’ve managed multiple accounts simultaneously without sacrificing quality. Most importantly, you have executive presence. You’re comfortable presenting to business owners. You can discuss acquisition cost, ROI, and growth targets without defaulting to platform metrics. You don’t need someone checking in every morning. You operate with ownership. If your background doesn’t check every box, but you see yourself in the work described here, we’d rather hire the right strategist than the right résumé. Bonus Points
Experience with home services or personal injury clients Experience advising owner-led or entrepreneurial businesses Track record supporting new business pitches and proposal development Experience mentoring or developing junior team members Familiarity with HubSpot or marketing automation platforms Google Ads, Google Analytics, or other relevant certifications Our Stack
You don’t need to be an expert in all of these. You need to know what they do and why they matter. Why High Point. Why Hybrid. Why Now.
Let’s talk about the part nobody puts in job descriptions. Whether you’re already in the Triad and want to do bigger work closer to home, or you’ve been eyeing the exit from a bigger metro, this is a role worth paying attention to. The Triad is quietly becoming one of the best places in the Southeast to build a career in marketing. The cost of living is real. The creative community is growing. And at New Path, you’ll work with clients across major metros, with an AI-forward toolkit most big agencies are still just talking about, without having to live in one. You could keep grinding in Charlotte or Raleigh, fighting traffic on 77 or 40, paying a premium to be “close to the office” four days a week, and logging into your sixth Zoom of the day from a coworking space. Or you could work hybrid from High Point, 20 minutes from Greensboro and Winston‑Salem, in a market where your salary goes further and your Tuesday afternoon doesn’t involve a 47‑person all‑hands sync. Here’s what hybrid actually means here: You’ll be in the office for collaboration, client strategy sessions, and the kind of work that’s better face‑to‑face. The rest of the time, you work where you work best. No badge‑swipe surveillance. No mandatory fun. Just trust, flexibility, and a team that actually likes being in the same room together when it counts. If you’ve been remote for three years and miss having real colleagues — or if you’ve been in‑office five days a week and miss having a life — this is the middle ground you didn’t think existed. Base Salary
$80,000–$95,000, depending on experience and impact On‑target Total Compensation
$95,000–$115,000, including performance bonus Bonus
Meaningful performance-based bonus tied to client retention, performance outcomes, and account growth Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance 401(k) with company match up to 4% 15 days PTO annually plus 13 paid holidays (including a full week around July 4th) Summer hours — office closes at 1 p.m. on Fridays, Memorial Day through Labor Day Professional development support for conferences, workshops, and certifications Company‑provided laptop and advanced marketing technology stack Collaborative, high‑ownership culture with real opportunity to shape the agency’s next chapter How to Apply
Apply here on LinkedIn to get on our radar. But if you want to stand out — and you’re the kind of strategist who knows that extra effort is what separates good from great — send your resume and a brief note about the last client relationship you’re most proud of to careers@newpathdigital.com. We read every one, and that’s where the real conversations start. A Few Practical Notes
This is a hybrid role based in High Point, NC — not open to fully remote or contractor-only arrangements Minimal travel required for occasional client meetings or industry conferences Best suited for a high‑performing agency strategist seeking long‑term ownership, career growth, and a team that’s worth showing up for
