
Harris Media is seeking a full-time Video Editor to join our growing creative team in Miami.
This role is primarily focused on editing video content for digital advertising and social media. While graphic design and other creative skills are a plus, this is not a purely graphic design position. We are looking specifically for someone with hands-on video editing experience.
We are open to candidates in the first 2–5 years of their career who are hungry to grow and build a strong portfolio in political and digital media.
Important:
Applicants must submit a portfolio or reel that clearly demonstrates video editing work. Applications without video samples will not be considered.
What You’ll Do
Edit short-form and long-form video content for digital ads and social platforms
Cut political ad creative, testimonial videos, and issue-based content
Add motion graphics, captions, pacing, and sound design to improve performance
Collaborate with account and strategy teams to execute creative briefs
Make rapid revisions based on feedback and campaign performance
Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience editing video (professional, freelance, internship, or academic work)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or comparable professional editing software)
Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics tools
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
Ability to turn around edits quickly and incorporate feedback
Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience filming video or basic lighting/audio setup
Extensive experience creating motion graphics in After Effects
Familiarity with digital advertising formats and best practicesExperience working in political, advocacy, or campaign environments
$40,000 – $55,000 per year, based on experience
