Journalist

About the Role We are looking for a Journalist with strong writing skills, analytical thinking, and experience working with structured information. This role is suited for a professional who can research topics in depth, verify sources, and present information clearly, objectively, and responsibly.

The ideal candidate understands context, narratives, and the importance of accuracy, and is comfortable using modern digital tools, including AI-assisted research and analysis tools.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in journalism, editorial writing, or analytical content creation

Strong research and fact-checking skills

Ability to work with complex topics and present them in a clear, structured manner

Analytical mindset and attention to detail

Confident use of AI tools for research, drafting, and analysis

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Languages

Ukrainian or Russian — required

Responsibilities

Researching topics and gathering information from reliable sources

Writing analytical articles, news pieces, and explanatory materials

Preparing structured reports, briefs, and background notes

Verifying facts and ensuring the accuracy of published materials

Collaborating with editors and subject-matter experts

Maintaining consistent editorial standards and tone

Location & Compensation

New York State (remote with future relocation to NYC): $60,000–$90,000 per annum

Compensation is based on experience, skills, and demonstrated results.
