TalentFish is casting a line for a Marketing Manager to join a growing, high-performing cybersecurity and consulting-focused organization headquartered in Schaumburg, IL. This is a direct hire opportunity for a hands-on marketing leader who thrives in a smaller, agile environment where strategy and execution go hand in hand.
This role exists to own and execute the company’s end-to-end marketing strategy—driving brand awareness, demand generation, and revenue enablement while closely supporting sales leadership and subject matter experts. Reporting to the SVP of Sales & Marketing, this individual will have meaningful visibility and influence across digital strategy, events, content, SEO/AEO, automation, and performance analytics.
What You Bring to the Role
What You Bring to the Role
3–5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within a smaller cybersecurity, technology services, or consulting organization
Strong content development experience (blogs, white papers, case studies, thought leadership)
Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a lean, collaborative environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong project management capability
Experience working cross-functionally with sales teams and technical SMEs
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute annual marketing strategies and fiscal plans across digital, advertising, direct mail, and events
Drive brand consistency across website, social, PR, trade shows, and outbound campaigns
Partner with technical subject matter experts to translate complex cybersecurity and consulting solutions into compelling, market-ready content
Own website content strategy with a strong focus on SEO and AEO to enhance both search engine and AI-driven discoverability
Leverage HubSpot for campaign execution, lead nurturing, automation, email marketing, and reporting
Manage paid search, analytics, and performance tracking to increase qualified traffic and conversions
Support trade shows, conferences, speaking engagements, and external vendor relationships
Define and report on marketing KPIs, using data to continuously refine strategy
Compensation The expected salary range for this position is
$112,000 – $150,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications, consistent with current market data in the Schaumburg/Chicago area. Comprehensive benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
This position requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. All offers are contingent upon completion of applicable background screenings.
