
Job Purpose
The Content Manager helps bring AIM’s work to life by coordinating meaningful stories, visuals, and messages from our front-line teams and turning them into clear, compelling content across digital, print, and live channels. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role serves as a steady connector between field staff and the marketing team—following through to gather content, organize it well, and share it with care and consistency. With a strong eye for detail, cultural sensitivity, and a heart for mission impact, the Content Manager ensures our content is timely, on-brand, and focused on inviting new people to join the mission and stay engaged for the long term. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
CONTENT ACQUISITION & FIELD COORDINATION
Gathers and curates content from front-line operations across three geographies (Southeast Asia, Central America, and Africa) Builds respectful, tactful relationships with field staff, media teams, and partners across cultures and time zones Follows up with media teams and field staff to secure needed content, providing clarity and support when processes are missed Coordinates with Teams and Tours to encourage and organize regular, ethical content capture Curates sponsorship-related media and collaborates with relevant teams to ensure timely, thoughtful updates to donors CONTENT DEVELOPMENT & CREATIVE EXECUTION
Writes and adapts engaging copy for digital, print, and live environments Organizes and refines media assets to ensure consistency with AIM’s brand voice and storytelling standards Creates visually appealing materials such as landing pages, event resources, QR codes, and print collateral Uses tools like Photoshop or Canva and social media platforms with confidence to support creative execution and daily needs Owns and manages AIM’s marketing and media assets within Google Drive, ensuring content, creative files, and campaign data are clean, structured, and easily accessible for global teams CREATIVE SCHEDULING & CAMPAIGN SUPPORT
Schedules and publishes content across social media channels (approximately 10 hours per week) Manages email communications and content deployment (approximately 4–5 hours per week) Supports coordinated campaign communications across platforms and timelines Evaluates content through a strategic lens, prioritizing lead generation and meaningful engagement over vanity metrics Other duties as assigned Anticipated Travel Requirements
Minimal travel for staff engagement, with the possibility of International travel to engage with programs Position Qualifications And Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent real-world experience that demonstrates excellence in execution strongly considered. 3–5 years of experience in marketing coordination, content operations, or communication roles with a proven track record of disciplined follow-through and operational strength. Demonstrated ability to organize, track, and publish content across digital platforms (socials, email, web, print) with precision, consistency and zero dropped details. Strong administrative operator who thrives in structured systems–managing timelines, documentation, approvals, and asset organization with clarity and accountability. Experience working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and program teams–translating ideas into clear workflows and executed deliverables. Working proficiency with content scheduling tools, email platforms, shared drives (Google Drive), and basic design tools (Canva) to prepare and deploy assets efficiently.
