The Trade Desk Manager leads a team responsible for providing customer support and operational support of one or more real-time, low-latency Cboe exchange trading platforms (e.g., BYX, BZX, C1, C2, CFE, EDGA, EDGX, BXE, CXE, DXE, MATCHNOW, etc.) across one or more asset classes (e.g., equities, foreign currencies, futures, options). The team delivers first-level, world-class support, solves problems, monitors systems, maintains healthy operation, and troubleshoots issues. The Trade Desk Manager regularly liaises with internal business and technology stakeholders and acts as a point of escalation for customers. The role also provides guidance throughout the full project lifecycle to meet operational requirements and deliver projects on schedule. Major Job Duties

Interact frequently with business associates, customers, and software engineers. Participate in definition and design of new features, develop and manage operational initiatives, translate plans into operational processes, and provide project management support for platform updates. Ensure compliance obligations are understood and met, assist with incident triage, reporting, and remediation with Compliance staff. Support configuration updates (e.g., SQL) to enable new functionality. Organize testing of changes and work with software engineering to resolve systemic issues. Communicate results and recommendations effectively. Lead, mentor, and supervise multiple direct reports responsible for customer and platform support. Foster connections across the team and organization and support training and development for new hires. Develop and provide subject matter expertise on platforms of responsibility. Liaise with vendors and operators of facilities supporting critical financial infrastructure. Serve as escalation point for the team and customers and participate in industry forums relevant to Operations support. Perform analytical functions to troubleshoot and explain complex technical and trading issues, conduct root cause and impact analyses, and resolve customer issues related to Cboe trading systems and APIs (e.g., market data, order entry, web services). Participate in on-call rotations as needed. Utilize SQL for data mining, UNIX shell for log analysis, and Cboe proprietary tools to gather and analyze data, producing reports for incident management, customers, and business teams. Oversee daily system checks and monitor production, disaster recovery, and testing environments. Take action to resolve issues, provide live updates to customers and regulators, and distribute timely System Status notifications. Maintain relationships with key personnel at client firms, support client mergers and acquisitions, ensure seamless transitions, and provide expert-level support and training on platform behavior and market structure. Provide exchange platform support including equity listing process management, handling of cancel order requests, rulings for clearly erroneous trades, support for price adjustments, and other service and support activities; lead and participate in weekend testing as needed. Recommend changes to policies and establish new operational procedures. Update internal technical and operations documentation as needed within the team’s Confluence space and SharePoint. Draft technical notices and updates to specifications. Qualifications

The ideal candidate has Bachelor’s Degree:

Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, Financial Services, Communications, or a related discipline. Masters preferred. Required Certifications and/or Licenses (US):

Equities and Options Managers must have FINRA SIE and Series 57 licenses or the ability to obtain within the first 8 months of service. Area of Expertise and/or skills:

7+ years in securities-related or technical support; experience with UNIX Shell, SQL, Agile Development Methodology, and Leadership or senior management. Benefits and Perks

Our pay ranges are determined by factors including role, experience, level, and location. The national new-hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $114,750-$141,750. The range may be higher in certain geographic areas.
