We’re looking for a hands‑on, strategy‑minded Social Media Specialist to lead and elevate our brand’s social presence. In this role, you’ll oversee our core brand accounts, drive innovative campaigns, and guide regional teams on best practices. You’ll have the freedom to create, experiment, and measure what resonates—all while shaping how we connect with our host family audience.

What You’ll Do As Social Media Specialist, you’ll be the voice of our brand across platforms. You’ll own the strategy, content, and execution of a social presence that celebrates our mission and builds community among host families, au pairs, and future program participants.

Lead audience engagement and reach across our brand accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and emerging platforms)

Develop, launch, and optimize social media strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and lead generation

Analyze performance and create insightful reports that tell the story of our social presence, and inform strategy and future initiatives

Plan, write and produce compelling content – stories, videos, graphics, and reels that bring our brand to life.

Showcase authentic voices from our community: real families, au pairs, staff and LCCs.

Collaborate closely with content, design, video and marketing teams to develop campaigns and integrate social into larger digital and traditional marketing campaigns

Partner with our Content Manager to integrate larger company goals on social media and surface authentic, user‑generated stories that inspire our audience and drive conversions

Develop and lead a host family content and influencer strategy to position Cultural Care as a trusted leader in the childcare and cultural exchange space.

Train and inspire our Local Childcare Counselors on how to use social media to promote themselves, CCAP, and generate interest in the program in their markets.

Lead community management—monitoring comments/DMs, fostering conversation, listening to our community on socials, and protecting brand voice

Stay ahead of trends by actively researching new tools, channels, and competitor approaches

Who You Are

3-5 years of professional social media marketing experience (brand side or agency)

Proven track record of building and executing campaigns from concept to reporting

You are obsessed with keeping up with the latest trends and industry standards even as platform best practices quickly change and constantly evolve

Comfortable with analytics tools and reporting, you use data to iterate and improve

Skilled at hands‑on daily execution of campaigns that ladder up to big‑picture organizational goals

Smart, social‑first writer

Experienced in on‑camera content creation, native platform tools, and using Canva for graphics and light design

Thrive in a cross functional, multicultural team and enjoy sharing best practices

Collaborative, curious, and energized by connecting people to a mission‑driven brand

You are a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication across a global organization

Familiar with Sprout Social, Asana, and other content management platforms

Compensation range for this role is between $65,000-$80,000 based on experience.
