Job Summary/Description This person will work on all of the station’s digital platforms, including all social media sites and the website. The person will be required to keep the platforms up to date and refreshed throughout their shift. This position also plays an important role in the station’s breaking news and severe weather strategy.
Duties/Responsibilities
Manage our WordPress‑based news site and multiple social media accounts.
Write and publish daily news content, including breaking news.
Edit digital stories for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
Assist the Sales Department with weekly web‑based ads and digital projects.
Serve as a critical checkpoint for spelling, grammar, factual accuracy, and potential libel issues.
Collaborate with multiple departments on landing pages and other digital needs.
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience with web design, graphic design, and photo/video editing is a plus.
