Overview
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Graphic Designer to create visually engaging, high-impact design work across packaging and retail initiatives in both print and digital environments. You’ll help bring brand stories to life through thoughtful execution and strong visual craft, ensuring every asset is on-brand, accurate, and production-ready.
You’ll report to an experienced Senior Designer and work closely with cross-functional partners, supporting larger creative initiatives while also owning select projects from concept through final delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands and values brand guidelines — and knows how to both uphold and extend them. You live and breathe brand systems, and can confidently translate them into new packaging and creative expressions while maintaining cohesion across a broader product suite. You’re detail-oriented, culturally aware, fluent in modern design tools, and energized by hands‑on creative execution.
Responsibilities Design & Execution
Create high-quality, brand-consistent creative assets across packaging, retail, and digital touchpoints — from concept through final production
Translate creative direction and brand guidelines into polished, production-ready design solutions
Independently lead assigned design projects while contributing to larger team initiatives
Apply and extend brand systems thoughtfully across new formats and surfaces
Ensure visual consistency and brand integrity across all deliverables
Packaging & Production
Design packaging concepts and layouts, applying brand guidelines creatively while maintaining cohesion across a product suite
Execute packaging updates including ingredient changes, UPC revisions, regulatory updates, and layout refinements
Prepare accurate, print-ready production files with outlined text, embedded assets, and verified die lines
Organize and label files clearly for internal teams and external vendor use
Review artwork and proofs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality before release
Workflow & Project Ownership
Own assigned packaging and retail design workflows from intake through final file delivery
Manage tasks and reviews using project tools (Asana, Ziflow, or similar platforms)
Track revisions, approvals, and proofing stages to keep projects moving efficiently
Flag risks or production concerns early and propose solutions
Collaboration
Partner closely with the Senior Designer, creative directors and marketing partners to align on goals and creative direction
Present work and rationale clearly, incorporating feedback effectively
Contribute thoughtful creative input and constructive feedback in team reviews
Support broader creative initiatives and step in where needed on other creative work
Compensation and Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
Location, confirmed job‑related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
Qualifications You have a graphic design background: You have proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio of packaging and production design work. You understand how to bring a brand to life across dielines with an eye for detail, color, and print accuracy
You understand both print and production: You’re fluent in print workflows, including CMYK vs PMS vs INX, dieline setup, text outlining, image embedding, and file prep for vendors. You know what it takes to get a file press‑ready and into a consumer’s hands
You take pride in the details: Your files are clean, accurate, and aligned to the pixel. You’re the kind of designer who triple‑checks UPC placement, spelling, and ingredient panels without being asked
You’re feedback oriented: You have a willingness to learn from others, assist where needed and able to seek input and share openly
You’re accountable: You own your projects from start to finish. You meet deadlines. You take responsibility for outcomes, follow through on commitments, and step in wherever needed to get the job done
You’re a team player: You work well independently and with others, communicating across functions and building strong relationships
You’re built for change: You’re adaptable and resilient in the face of change with the ability to embrace challenges and shift priorities with ease in a fast‑paced environment
You can flex beyond packaging: When time allows, you’re happy to jump in on sales collateral, retail POS, or other print‑based creative needs to support the broader team
