$50,000 & up (depending on experience)
About the Role The Training Specialist designs, delivers, and continuously improves live and virtual training programs to support new hire onboarding, ongoing employee development, and corporate compliance requirements. This role partners with leadership to ensure training content is effective, compliant, and aligned with operational needs, while supporting performance improvement across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging live and virtual training for new hires, remedial needs, customer service, and corporate programs (e.g., HIPAA, Compliance).
Develop, update, and improve training materials, curriculum, and job aids in collaboration with Training & Design teams.
Identify training gaps and drive continuous improvement using trainee feedback and performance data.
Support employee development through ongoing training based on performance and end‑user results.
Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, training room and equipment setup, and post‑training surveys.
Serve as a mentor and role model, adapting instruction to varying skill levels and learning styles.
Track, monitor, and report on training completion, LMS activity, and post‑training follow‑up coaching.
Ensure all training content and delivery comply with company policy, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
Uphold strict confidentiality and integrity regarding PHI, PCI, and sensitive company information.
Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and group facilitation.
Demonstrated ability to train and support employees with varying skill levels and learning styles.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and collaboration skills; ability to remain positive and patient in all situations.
Ability to maintain a working knowledge of multiple systems and applications as assigned (e.g., Epic).
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Detail oriented and self‑motivated, with strong follow‑up skills.
Adaptable with the ability to shift priorities as needed.
Knowledge of training strategies used to develop, motivate, and enhance employee performance.
Ability to support employee development using performance results and feedback.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and company information.
Ability to understand and comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
At Least ONE Of The Following Qualifications
2+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or instructional delivery.
Professional experience in a healthcare, revenue cycle, or call center environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS).
Experience with course creation and reporting.
Employment Eligibility Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
