
ACCOUNT MANAGER – INDUSTRY & DISTRIBUTION
Position Overview
An Account Manager- Industry & Distribution will be responsible for the Cembre product line using technical, industry and knowledge of customer needs. Supporting existing clients, generating new clients and increasing sales revenue. The position will require being comfortable doing hands‑on demonstrations of the products for Industry.
Meet or exceed annual sales quota, as assigned
Sale of Cembre product line using technical, industry and knowledge of customer needs.
Provide input and feedback to management and product category leaders pertaining to customer requirements, market planning and technical development of products based on customer needs.
Create customer quotes using the CRM.
Collaborate with management and the Back Office staff in preparing quotes, RFP responses and orders when needed.
Provides sales demonstrations and technical support of product line and applications.
Generating new customers and opportunities
Work in partnership with MRA’s and focus distribution sales team to reach area sales objectives.
Attendance and participation at industry exhibition shows, conferences and meetings as required.
Maintain a CRM pipeline that supports focus end customer accounts and markets.
Manage travel and entertainment that adheres to Cembre expense policy.
Competitive feedback and market research.
Manage demo stock and assigned truck stock in a responsible manner, utilizing the Pro-Forma process for customer trials.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four‑year college or university or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

This job operates almost solely outside of the office. The territory for this position will be specified by Management and will require travel at least 75% of the time. Travel is provided by means of a company‑provided vehicle.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Due to the nature of our product, employee will be required to lift, carry and operate equipment up to 50lbs
Ability to walk, stand, bend and kneel.
Extensive periods of driving or sitting for travel
While performing the duties of this job, employee may be subject to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, loud noises and fumes.
Supervisory Hierarchy This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
This position reports to the Sales Manager, Industry & Distribution.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday with overnight travel frequently required.
