Job Overview Estimated first-year earnings range: $40,000 - $60,000. Uncapped commission and earnings. Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks. This position sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory, as well as cemetery services, property, and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through a combination of walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting. Job type: Full-time.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales.

1 year of sales experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement provided.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.

Experience with a CRM preferred.

Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.

Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
