
Our client, a contemporary ready-to-wear brand, is seeking an experienced
Account Executive
to join their growing wholesale team. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven and results-oriented sales professional with proven experience managing department store, off-price, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) accounts such as Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, and similar retailers. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the fashion wholesale landscape, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. In-Office 5x a week in Midtown (no flex) Key Responsibilities
Manage and expand existing wholesale accounts while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities Present seasonal collections to buyers through in-person market appointments, virtual meetings, and showroom presentations Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with buyers, merchants, and retail partners Drive sales growth by analyzing sell-through data, identifying opportunities, and executing strategic account plans Partner cross-functionally with design, production, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and overall account satisfaction Oversee order writing, forecasting, reorders, and ongoing account follow-up Attend trade shows, market weeks, and client visits as required Maintain accurate reporting, account records, and sales performance tracking Qualifications
3–7+ years of experience as an Account Executive or in wholesale sales within the fashion industry Proven experience working with department stores, specialty retailers, and/or off-price accounts Established buyer relationships strongly preferred Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and identify market trends Willingness to travel as needed Why Join:
