Responsibilities

Assist customers and partners in developing business solutions using Juniper’s products and TekSynap services

Enter and monitor Deal Registrations for all vendors

Manage maintenance renewals

Manage Marketing Development Funds (MDF) projects and claims

Marketing Support

Manage OEM Rebate, Incentive Rewards & Promotions

Manage several large accounts

Continuously improve approaches and methods of selling company products and services

Build customer relationships through thought leadership

Develop relationships with key vendors to better position industry technology within the company solution

Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of an organization’s products and/or services

Coordinate with field sales team members to ensure goals are met

Provide support to customers over the phone and may conduct field visits as necessary

May be involved in large customer sales team

Manage partner status, compliance, and contractual requirements

Coordinate TekSynap training pursuits with vendors

Enter opportunities on partner portal pipelines

Track all vendor events and coordinate TekSynap attendees

Set up new partnerships upon request

Required Qualifications

1–2 years of directly related sales experience

Experience with IT products and the ability to learn about partner products

Bachelor’s Degree desired

Location: Reston, VA

Type of environment: Office

Noise level: Low

Work schedule: Day shift Monday – Friday. Position will require evenings and weekends to meet vendor, program and contract needs.

Amount of Travel: at least 25%
