
Job Overview
Linde is seeking a Director, Electronics Key Account Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for one of the largest electronic onsite customers in United States and will be charged to champion safety, reliability and profitability within the account and will be responsible for successful commercialization of the on-going projects with this customer and delivering the projects on budget and on schedule.
This role will take visible ownership of commercial and technical relationship with decision makers and end users for customers' locations in United States and headquarters overseas. This role will lead the organization to win more than fair share of business with this customer to support its expansion in USA.
Other Duties Include
Champion and lead by example Linde Safety goals and objectives
Take the lead for all new opportunities within United States for this customer.
Work to develop the strategy to scope, cost, bid, win and execute defined opportunities for this customer and make sure Linde is resourced to maximize the chance of winning.
Focal point for investment analysis, pricing, contract negotiations & champion the approval process within United States for this customer. Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Liaise with Global Regions and Businesses where customer currently does business to ensure specific customer requirements and operational practices are imported and are part of the winning strategy.
Take ownership of the opportunities P&L from the start to the end of the first year of operations to ensure that business model case and all assumptions are delivered.
Working closely with Engineering and Project Business Lead to make sure smooth execution of ongoing projects for the customer and ensure projects on are on schedule and on budget. Lead the negotiation on project change orders to deliver the desired project economics.
Work with Global Electronics teams to ensure BOPs and to evaluate common platforms to minimize required capex.
Support the development of operations and reliability personnel necessary to operate and maintain reliable supply to the customer's Operations in USA.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or similar technical discipline; MBA a plus.
Ten to fifteen years' business-to-business technical sales experience. Relevant working experience in APAC region is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills
Proficiency in developing internal and external presentations and proposals
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of and/or experience of high purity gas systems, high purity components and advanced analytical system
Excellent leadership and communication skills including communication to senior management
Fluent in both Mandarin and English
