Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott located in Cayce, SC. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and achieving revenue goals. Other daily responsibilities include creating and executing sales strategies, managing sales metrics, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with hotel management to enhance guest satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on approach for leading sales initiatives, conducting site visits, and participating in networking events to promote the property.
Qualifications
Proven skills in Sales, Client Relationship Management, and Business Development
Strong understanding of Sales Strategies, Market Analysis, and Negotiation Techniques
Experience with Hospitality Industry Sales, Hotel Operations, and Event Planning
Excellent Communication, Organizational, and Presentation Skills
Ability to meet sales goals, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Previous experience in hotel sales or similar role is a plus
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
