Residential Account Manager – Home Floor Designs
Home Floor Designs is seeking a driven, customer-focused Residential Account Manager to lead client relationships, drive revenue growth, and deliver an exceptional flooring experience from initial consultation through project completion. This consultative sales and relationship‑management role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys building trust with homeowners and partners, and takes ownership of results. The Residential Account Manager will balance showroom engagement, outside relationship development, and project coordination to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What You’ll Do
Client Relationships & Sales Growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, builders, designers, and referral partners.
Guide customers through product selection, pricing, and project expectations.
Identify and pursue new residential sales opportunities to grow market share.
Consistently meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
Project & Bid Management
Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and bids for residential projects.
Partner with operations and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide proactive communication and follow‑up throughout the project lifecycle.
Showroom & Customer Experience
Maintain a professional, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment.
Ensure displays are current, clean, and aligned with Home Floor Designs brand standards.
Create a welcoming experience that reflects our commitment to quality and service.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with estimating, operations, and leadership teams to deliver outstanding results.
Support continuous improvement of processes, systems, and customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in sales, account management, or consultative customer service (flooring, construction, interiors, or home improvement preferred).
Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and follow‑through skills.
Comfort using CRM systems, quoting tools, and sales reporting.
Self‑motivated with a high level of accountability and professionalism.
