Contributes to client projects through conceptual design, urban planning, and construction administration. You will work together with fellow landscape architects to develop sustainable and collaborative outdoor spaces that encourage learning through nature-based play.
Your Impact:
Create interactive outdoor spaces at a variety of scales from ecosystem restoration to intimate learning gardens
Create innovative designs that can adapt to a variety of materials and situations
Cross-departmental collaboration with engineers and architects to bond natural and livable systems
Produce drainage, grading, hardscape, and landscape plans
Prepare well-designed schematic sketches and concept plans for client evaluation
Perform site visits to systematize introductory design stages and oversee continued work through construction administration
Here's What You'll Need:
1+ years of experience in a professional landscape architecture setting
Bachelor's degree from an accredited landscape architecture program
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and MS Office
Advanced knowledge 3-D modeling program SketchUp
Strong oral, written, and graphic communication skills
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy
Ability to travel to project sites

Experience developing construction documentation
The actual offered base salary for California locations will vary depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role will be at or near the top half of the range provided, but the decision will be dependent on the factors of each individual case. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. The salary range for this position is below.
$67,597.00 - $101,396.00
