T1 Energy is looking to hire a Director, SEC Reporting to lead all aspects of public company reporting ensuring timely, accurate, and well‑controlled SEC fillings. You'll serve as the technical accounting and disclosure leader across the organization, partnering closely with the CAO, Investor Relations, Legal, and senior finance leadership.
This is a high‑impact leadership role in a publicly traded, capital‑intensive energy business. Precision, discipline, and judgement are non‑negotiable.
What You’ll Do
Lead preparation, review, and filling of all SEC reports, including Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and proxy statements. Ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements. Oversee financial statement disclosures, MD&A, and supporting schedules. Manage quarterly and year‑end reporting cycles, including coordination with external auditors. Monitor new accounting standards and SEC rule changes, drive implementation across the organization. Partner with Investor Relations and Legal to ensure consistency and clarity in financial communications. Lead and develop the SEC reporting team, setting high standards for accuracy and execution. Support technical accounting research and complex transaction memos. Contribute to special projects, including M&A, capital markets transactions, and debt/equity offerings. Who You Are

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required. 10+ years of relevant accounting and reporting experience. 5+ years in public company SEC reporting leadership role. Big 4 experience strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX. Experience in energy or other capital‑intensive industries preferred.
