Leading expert individual contributor who is viewed as a valuable resource by peers in a technology field. Understand BWI products performance, internal and external manufacturing processes, design and process validation and related regulatory impacts.
Leads Margin Acceleration front end engine: ideas incubator, early technical assessments and coarse feasibility activities prior to charter projects.
Conducts advanced knowledge and expertise to Margin Acceleration Project Engineering initiatives of strategic importance leading to the company's end-to-end supply chain customer-specific deliverable requirements.
Leads and monitors progresses on significantly complex Margin Acceleration Project Engineering schematics, engaging cross-functional teams (R&D, LCM, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Regulatory, PMO, Suppliers) to ensure optimal supply chain engineering solutions.
Directs teams regarding ongoing Margin Acceleration Project Engineering plans, key milestones, and objectives, to ensure deliverables are aligned with operational needs and requirements.
Drives plans to address any Margin Acceleration Project Engineering non-conformance and subsequent corrective and preventive actions, by documenting, investigating, and conducting root cause analysis, and successfully implementing corrective actions.
Leads capital and expense forecasts for assigned Margin Acceleration engineering projects, to ensure outputs adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Drives process validations on Margin Acceleration Project Engineering processes for subsequent operational integration and supply chain implementation.
Guides supervision of Project Engineering Technicians and Engineering Contractors by supporting and enforcing site-specific safety and industrial hygiene requirements.
Communicates and escalates in a timely manner, any Project Engineering issues or concerns to the next management level.
Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes, and provides functional (matrix) supervision.
Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
Qualifications Education
Minimum of a bachelor's Engineering degree or equivalent is required, advanced degree preferred
Experience and Skills Required
minimum 8 years of business experience
Experience with talent hiring and development
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in bridging technical and business fields, evaluating and resolving appropriate risks
Quality and Compliance mentality
Excellent Communications skills
