CoVantage Credit Union is seeking candidates for a VP Commercial Lending position based at our office in Wausau, WI. These individuals will take the lead in developing and servicing commercial loan and deposit relationships within our chartered areas. They will provide commercial credit union members and potential members with courteous and efficient loan service while maintaining a high-quality commercial loan portfolio according to credit union policies. They will also help develop strategies to reach organizational goals and provide leadership to ensure others are maximizing their contributions to the credit union as well.

Job Duties:
Provide commercial credit union members and potential members with courteous and efficient loan service while maintaining a high-quality commercial loan portfolio according to credit union policies
Take a proactive role in developing positive relationships with businesses and community and civic organizations to promote goodwill
Interview new and existing commercial members, analyze financials, and makes recommendations to supervisor or credit committee
Ensure all loans are underwritten, approved or denied, and closed according to credit union policies
Manage and collect assigned commercial loan portfolios and works with a member having difficulty or problems making regular payments
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, or a similar field or equivalent experience
Valid drivers license as some travel is required
Minimum of five years business lending experience
Prior experience analyzing financial statements for various types of commercial entities
Ability to communicate and work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
