Job Description Summary The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategy for the Pyxis™ Dispensing business in the US market. This role will develop, manage and deliver the go‑to‑market programs and value offers for Pyxis™ Dispensing portfolio. This person will utilize the BD Way of Marketing framework to develop clearly defined strategies and tactics. This highly visible role will be accountable for the execution of these strategies/tactics to achieve US Region objectives for the Dispensing business.

The position reports to the Sr. Director, US Region, Health Systems Medication Dispensing & Automation Solutions and will require close cross functional collaboration with the Global Customer Services (GCS) team, Portfolio Platforms, and Regional Marketing Teams as well as Sales, Commercial Operations, and Finance.

About the role: The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategy for the Pyxis™ Dispensing business in the US market. This role will develop, manage and deliver the go‑to‑market programs and value offers for Pyxis™ Dispensing portfolio. This person will utilize the BD Way of Marketing framework to develop clearly defined strategies and tactics. This highly visible role will be accountable for the execution of these strategies/tactics to achieve US Region objectives for the Dispensing business.

Key responsibilities Include:

Engage closely with customers and sales teams to understand market dynamics, business opportunity and customer needs.

Generate meaningful and actionable market insights.

Analyze competitive challenges and identify implications/counterstrategies.

Develop customer segmentation to define target segments (“where to play”).

Articulate clear strategies and effective tactics to achieve key commercial objectives.

Craft customer personas and journeys, based on demographics, attitudes, and behaviors.

Target customer experience and interactions that strengthen Pyxis brand and align to segment and personas.

Analyze customer buying process to determine ideal interaction points and triggers.

Leverage data to predict ideal targets for lead generation.

Illustrate customer change journey by defining current and desired behaviors.

Create effective value offers that fulfil key customer and market needs.

Map growth strategies to clear financial goals.

Develop and implement omni‑channel campaigns to drive strategic goals including customer retention, acquisition, and development.

Work with 3rd party organizations such as KLAS, MDBuyline and BD internal stakeholders to optimize metrics for customer experience.

Collaborate with global upstream teams to build launch strategy and Go-To-Market plans for new innovations.

Successfully execute on financial and commercial objectives.

Ensures all interested parties have opportunities to influence and contribute to decisions and outcomes.

About you: You are an adaptable, high‑energy marketer who thrives in fast‑paced environments and takes initiative. You’re motivated by turning customer insights into strong downstream marketing execution and collaborating across teams to drive results.

Required education and experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, science, engineering or related field.

At least 6 years of healthcare marketing experience (downstream or upstream).

Experience with B2B marketing required.

Experience in planning, executing, and measuring marketing programs.

Demonstrated experience working with sales teams in an effective and collaborative manner.

Strong and effective communication and presentation skills.

Organized and proactive with demonstrated ability to multitask and balance challenging priorities.

Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

Ability to make business decisions based on research data and other input.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA

Skilled in navigating matrixed global environments

Salary Range Information $139,900.00 - $230,800.00 USD Annual
