Technical Parts Service Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $11.13 - $20.00 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. The Technical Parts Service Specialist is a skilled parts expert dedicated to providing exemplary service to professional customers through our store's installer counter. In this role, you will not only manage day-to-day activities of delivery specialists but also ensure that our customers receive their orders accurately and punctually. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Build and nurture sales relationships with installers and professional customers. Quickly and accurately process customer orders via phone and online, ensuring timely invoicing and staging of parts for delivery. Oversee the delivery specialists to guarantee consistent and prompt order deliveries. Maintain and service delivery vehicles to meet company standards. Conduct timely vehicle inspections and ensure daily mileages are recorded accurately. Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Territory Sales Managers to deliver outstanding service. Verify that all products, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store. Ensure timely pick-up and crediting of customers' core and warranty returns. Audit customer returns for warranty compliance and ensure proper labeling. Assist at the front counter and retail counter as necessary. Help with backroom tasks, such as auto-load, returns, and stocking. Facilitate the efficient processing of customer labor claims. Perform additional duties as assigned. SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES Required: Strong mechanical background. Excellent communication skills. Desired: Hands-on experience with automotive repairs. ASE Certification.
