About The Role

Giant Noise is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Account Coordinator to join our Public Relations team in Austin.

The Senior Account Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting day-to-day account operations while gaining hands-on experience in strategy development, writing, media relations, and client communication. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to impactful campaigns, and help demonstrate measurable results for clients across hospitality, lifestyle, and consumer brands. Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid). Reports to: Account Supervisor. What You’ll Do

Media & Press Support

Build and maintain targeted, strategic media lists tailored to client industries Monitor and track media coverage daily Assist with coverage analysis, compiling key metrics and preliminary insights to support ROI reporting Develop and execute media pitches across print, digital, and broadcast Client & Account Coordination

Communicate professionally with clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings Draft meeting agendas and recaps to ensure clear documentation and follow-through Prepare biweekly, monthly, and campaign wrap reports Accurately track time daily to support project management and account health Content Development

Draft press releases, media alerts, social copy, and other PR materials under supervision Contribute research and ideas during brainstorming and strategy sessions Event & Logistics Management

Support execution of media events and special activations, including media outreach, RSVP management, and check-in coordination Attend client TV segments or media opportunities as needed Coordinate internal and client meetings, ensuring seamless logistics Team Support & Mentorship

Assist in overseeing interns’ daily workflow and serve as a resource for questions Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture What You Bring

1–2 years of agency experience in public relations Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Clear and professional communication skills Experience using platforms such as Muck Rack, Google Workspace, and media monitoring tools Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Foundational understanding of media relations, coverage tracking, and research techniques Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field What Sets You Apart
