The Opportunity A well-established, family-owned building materials supplier in

Southern Wisconsin

is expanding and seeking an

experienced Outside Sales Professional

with

LBM experience and an active book of business . This is a growth-driven role supporting aggressive 2026 expansion. The company is prepared to

interview and hire immediately

for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow an outside sales territory within ~2 hours of Madison

Leverage an existing book of business with builders and remodelers

Conduct regular in-person customer meetings

Complete product takeoffs, estimating, proposals, and close sales

Prospect for new business while strengthening existing relationships

Maintain strong knowledge of lumber, roofing, siding, and related materials

Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals

Accurately track pipeline, activity, and customer data

✅ Required Background

3+ years of outside sales experience in LBM

Established book of business (required)

Strong understanding of building plans and construction practices

Proven track record of closing sales and growing territory revenue

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $55,000 - $72,000 (target ~$60,000)

Commission Potential: ~$30,000+

Realistic Year-One Earnings: ~$90,000+
