What You’ll Do We are looking for a Sales Account Manager for Samsung Foundry. The individual will develop, acquire, and grow new accounts for our expanding Foundry business. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in the semiconductor industry, with deep knowledge of Foundry processes, and a large network.
Location: Daily onsite presence in San Diego, with an average of 10% travel per month.
Generate and drive new accounts to successful engagements. Lead account management from first contact to onboarding.
Articulate Samsung’s strengths based on semiconductor process technology and customer needs.
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Headquarters) to lead marketing pitches and design awards.
Respond to RFI/RFP/RFQ and collect customer requirements.
Prospect, build relationships, and close deals with an emphasis on outbound sales and pipeline development.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and customer feedback.
Work closely with engineering to propose suitable solutions.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and sales operations.
Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
Develop sales strategies based on market research and competitive analysis.
Coordinate with marketing and sales to reduce ambiguity in product requirements.
Lead project management meetings across teams to align on strategy.
Assimilate industry and customer requirements into marketing knowledge base.
Support and develop team members, fostering growth opportunities.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s in Business or Engineering with 10+ years related experience; or Master’s with 8+ years; or PhD with 5+ years. MBA with Engineering degree a plus.
Experience in the semiconductor industry, especially with Foundries and the supply chain in a customer-facing role.
Experience with semiconductor supply contracts and sourcing is a plus.
Deep understanding of advanced-node semiconductor process technology, IP ecosystem, and industry landscape.
Demonstrated results in establishing creative partnerships.
Proven experience in semiconductor marketing/sales/business development with a track record of closing complex deals.
Independent, self-motivated, and driven to win.
Team player able to work across diverse cross‑functional teams worldwide.
Relationship manager with a broad network and experience working with executives.
Leadership skills to influence all levels of the organization.

What We Offer Base Pay Range: $128,740 – $199,260 USD.
