JOB PURPOSE The DSSM operates in a matrix organization and manages a complex digital portfolio, ensuring customers are introduced to the right solutions with a clear path for future expansion.
The role requires independence, strong prospecting capability, and the ability to navigate multiple internal stakeholders while maintaining accurate visibility of opportunities through CRM and other digital tools.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Safety & Environment

Sales, Business Growth & Development
Develop and execute sales strategies, win plans, and business models for digital and automation solutions.
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline for defined digital offerings.
Identify target customers and develop structured engagement plans.
Lead automation and digital solution sales initiatives.
Qualify, screen, and categorize customer interactions and opportunities.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Identify new business opportunities and propose solution enhancements.
Analyze pricing structures and recommend pricing models.
Collaborate with local and global sales teams and factory resources.
Partner with Sales Areas on forecasting, marketing activities, and system accuracy.
Contribute to business development planning and execution across the matrix organization.
Maintain an up-to-date, fact-based understanding of market and competitor activity.
Deliver results in line with defined targets.
Provide technical and value-based sales expertise to maximize short- and long-term growth.
Support product launches, customer forums, expos, and marketing initiatives.
Ensure adherence to QAR, CAR, discount management, and business case approval processes.
Support trials, rentals, and pilot programs, ensuring contracts, KPIs, and governance are followed.
Contribute to demand planning activities.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of experience working with mining operations and customer business processes.

Solid understanding of the mining industry and associated equipment.
Experience with cellular networks is an advantage.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with business experience, or
Bachelor’s degree in Business (or similar) with a technical background or experience.

Valid driver’s license
