Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Layout Designer to join our team! Responsibilities include:

Development and preparation of multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering

Work may be completed through use of CAD equipment

Checks dimensions, writes specifications, and verifies completed drawings, art work or digitized plots

May check design layouts and detailed drawings

Minimum requirements:

Associates degree

2+ years of relevant layout design experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes

Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

Proficient with CADENCE layout tools

High proficiency in interpreting Assura LVS/DRC

Routing Techniques: Shielding, Isolation etc.

Tapout and sign-off experience

Layout development in multiple technologies and nodes.
