Meridian Title is one of the nation's largest independent title agencies with over 80 years of experience in providing title insurance coverage, escrow closings, and real estate related services. We're always looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our team of title and escrow experts. We currently have an opening for a Marketing and Communications Specialist, based in our Indianapolis office on the north side. *This position is not eligible for remote/hybrid work.*
The Marketing & Communications Specialist supports company growth and brand consistency by executing creative, digital, and event-based marketing initiatives. This role focuses on producing high-quality marketing materials, coordinating promotional activities, and enhancing client and community engagement while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position leverages emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and support data-informed marketing decisions, while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to advance business development goals.
Marketing Execution & Brand Support
Execute marketing initiatives that support brand awareness, client engagement, and business development goals.
Create and produce marketing materials including digital assets, print advertising, presentations, and promotional collateral.
Maintain and uphold Meridian’s brand standards across all marketing and communication channels.
Support internal communications including training materials, manuals, and internal messaging.
Digital & Social Marketing
Support social media content creation, posting, and engagement.
Assist with email marketing and basic digital outreach initiatives.
Track and report on marketing performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
Sales Enablement & Training
Partner with sales and leadership teams to support business development initiatives.
Provide training and guidance to sales teams on social media best practices, design tools, and CRM-based email marketing tools.
Distribute branded marketing materials and promotional items to internal teams and external partners.
Events & Community Engagement
Coordinate company-sponsored events, trade shows, and community partnerships.
Manage promotional inventory including ordering, tracking, storage, and distribution.
Coordinate with vendors related to events, printing, media, and marketing services.
Budget, Vendors & Operations
Assist with tracking marketing budgets and expenses.
Work with external vendors including designers, printers, and media partners.
Ensure marketing materials comply with company policies, brand standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Innovation & Market Awareness
Monitor competitor marketing activity and industry trends.
Utilize AI-powered tools and emerging marketing technologies to improve efficiency in content creation, design, analytics, and workflows while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Travel Travel to regional markets as needed to support meetings, events, and collaboration with internal teams.
Requirements Design & Creative Tools
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or comparable tools
Canva or similar online design platforms
Microsoft PowerPoint or equivalent presentation software
Digital Marketing, AI & Automation
Social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, or similar)
Email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact or similar)
Working knowledge of AI-powered tools for marketing, content development, design assistance, data analysis, and process automation
Ability to evaluate and apply AI tools responsibly to increase efficiency while ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated understanding of paid social and digital advertising

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of proven experience in marketing or a related role
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic analytics.
Experience in real estate, title insurance, or financial services preferred but not required.
