Community Gamification & Content Systems Manager (Mobile App) A leading Media & Entertainment company is building community-driven interactive experiences layered on top of digital storytelling. We are seeking a hands‑on builder who understands fandom culture and can design compelling reward and progression systems that deepen engagement inside a mobile app ecosystem.

This is not a traditional community manager role.

We are looking for someone who can translate fandom behavior into interactive systems, design game mechanics that drive retention, and manage the content production pipeline that powers those systems.

What You’ll Own 1. Gamified Community Systems

Design reward, progression, and leveling systems that increase participation and long‑term retention.

Develop collectible frameworks, unlock mechanics, and engagement‑based incentives.

Build systems that encourage daily return behavior and deeper content consumption.

Translate fan behavior into structured engagement loops.

Own the lifecycle of digital items, rewards, events, and interactive content.

Manage the roadmap and execution of live content releases.

Work cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, and IP stakeholders to ship scalable features.

Ensure systems are operationally executable, not just conceptual.

3. Fandom‑Driven Experience Design

Design systems that resonate with webcomic, manga, manhwa, and anime audiences.

Build mechanics that respect narrative canon and IP integrity.

Understand how fan psychology drives participation and drop‑off.

4. Community Engagement Through Game Mechanics

Move beyond comments and moderation.

Build interactive experiences that reward reading depth and engagement.

Integrate gamification elements into community identity and expression.

What We’re Looking For Required Experience

4–10 years in mobile gaming, live‑service apps, or interactive community products.

Experience working in mobile app environments (not primarily PC or console).

Hands‑on contributor mindset — comfortable executing low‑level tasks when needed.

Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ship live features.

Strong Signals

Designed or managed:

Collectibles

Engagement‑based rewards

Experience in live operations or content calendars.

Experience working with licensed IP or narrative‑driven products.

Familiarity with virtual goods, digital items, or in‑app economies.

Cultural & Domain Fit

Deep understanding of webcomic, manga, manhwa, or anime fandom culture.

Personally engaged in fan communities or IP‑driven ecosystems.

Broad entertainment taste across male‑oriented, female‑oriented, and gender‑neutral content.

Strong understanding of why fandoms adopt or reject features.

What This Role Is NOT

Not a social media community manager.

Not purely moderation or engagement reporting.

Not a backend engineer.

Not a passive strategist.

This is a builder role for someone who thinks in systems and executes in detail.

Ideal Candidate Profile We’re looking for someone who understands fandoms the way game designers understand players — someone who can turn stories into systems and readers into long‑term participants.
