
Trade Show and Retail Marketing Coordinator
5-hour ENERGY®, Farmington Hills, Michigan, United States
The Trade Show and Retail Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows, events and retailer marketing specific programs from initiation through completion. This role manages logistics, documentation, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination with 5-hour ENERGY’s Sales, Marketing, and external partners to ensure events and programs are executed smoothly and deliver measurable business value.
What You’ll Do: Trade Show Support:
Plan and coordinate all aspects of trade shows, including but not limited to booth selection, space layout, shipping, travel, lodging, marketing/sales materials and on-site set up and teardown
Serve as the primary point of contact with event organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Develop and manage event timelines and checklists to ensure deadlines are met
Tracks expenses to ensure budget guidelines are not exceeded and maintain cost control
Source, negotiate, and manage vendors such as booth designers, freight companies, and promotional suppliers
Attend events to manage setup, operations, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Other duties as assigned
Retailer-Specific Marketing Programs and Packaging Requests:
Support the planning and execution of retailer-specific marketing programs across key accounts
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals for retailer marketing initiatives
Ensure programs align with retailer requirements, brand standards, and sales objectives
Assist with post-program recaps and performance tracking
Manage retailer-specific packaging needs, including exclusives, LTOs, compliance requests, and artwork variations
Coordinate with Brand, Creative, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure accurate execution
Track packaging requests, timelines, and approvals from concept through production
Maintain organized documentation of retailer packaging requirements and specifications
Retail Marketing Asset Creation
Support the creation of retail marketing assets including retailer-specific advertising, in-store signage and displays, digital assets for retailer media platforms, sales tools and presentations
Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to brief, review, and route assets for approval
Ensure all assets meet retailer specs, brand guidelines, and production requirements
Cross-Functional & Administrative Support
Act as a point of contact for retailer marketing requests coming from Sales and external partners
Maintain project trackers, asset libraries, and marketing calendars
Support budget tracking and invoice processing related to retail marketing programs
Assist with trade shows, retailer meetings, and sales presentations as needed
What You Bring:
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience; prior tradeshow/event coordination experience required
Proficiency with MS Office suite
Customer-driven and able to interface with both internal and external stakeholders
Exhibits strong project management skills, with outstanding attention to detail and an exemplary commitment to meeting deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Able to make decisions and work autonomously in ambiguous situations
