
Field Director: Nick Alex for Congress — Georgia’s 9th Congressional District
The Nick Alex for Congress campaign is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and community‑focused Field Director to lead our people‑powered voter contact program across Georgia’s 9th Congressional District. This role is central to building a strong grassroots operation that turns out voters through direct conversations, volunteer leadership, and strategic field planning.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the district‑wide field plan for the primary and general election.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteer and paid canvassers, and phone bankers.
Build and oversee a strong direct voter contact program including door‑to‑door canvassing, phone banking, text banking, and relational organizing.
Establish and maintain volunteer leadership structures such as precinct captains and regional leads.
Track daily, weekly, and monthly field goals and report progress to campaign leadership.
Coordinate with campaign management, communications, and fundraising teams to ensure an integrated campaign strategy.
Oversee voter contact data, targeting, and quality control using campaign voter databases.
Plan and staff field activities, community events, and voter engagement opportunities throughout the district.
Ensure all field activities are conducted in compliance with campaign and election laws.
Qualifications
At least two full cycles of campaign field experience preferred; congressional district experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership and people‑management skills with the ability to motivate volunteers.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to progressive values and the mission of the Nick Alex for Congress campaign.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Position Overview This is a full‑time, salaried position based in Georgia’s 9th Congressional District. Salary is $5,000 per month for this role. Benefits and campaign stipends may be available (this is usually in the form of mileage reimbursement and healthcare).
