
About Us
Repool is a fintech software company that is modernizing infrastructure for hedge funds, like Carta or Angellist for hedge funds. US hedge funds account for $3.5T of assets but rely upon antiquated services and technology from fractured service providers. Founded in 2021, Repool is a YC S21 alum with over $6M in funding from top firms like Canaan, Matrix, and Uncorrelated, as well as angel investors including founders from unicorns like Brex, Jeeves, Mercury, Flexport, Outschool, Pilot, and Forge. The team currently has 12 employees, split between NYC and SF. We are open to this role being in SF or NYC. NYC is in office 4 days a week while SF is in the office 3 days a week.
Where You'll Make An Impact We do not currently have a designer in house, and you’ll have significant ownership over shaping the entire platform.
Own the UI/UX across Repool's web platforms
Provide the vision and direction for our product strategy and philosophy
Create and iterate upon Repool's product design processes
Work closely with engineering to define and deliver new features
Design At Repool We think Repool presents a particularly interesting opportunity for a product designer; we're reimagining a lot of legacy workflows across a wide variety of financial and services workflows, often build first-of-kind software experiences for clients. You'll have the opportunity to build workflows that touch not only fund managers, but also their clients (investors), spanning banking, accounting, workflow automation, CRM, communications, and more.
Qualifications
1+ year of professional, full-time post-graduate design experience (ideally at software or venture backed companies)
Portfolio of prior work showcasing your design capabilities and thinking
Strong experience with Figma
Bachelor's degree or higher from a 4-year university or college, ideally in a design related field
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate why and how visuals and designs should work
