Reports To: Director of Marketing / Marketing Committee

Midwest Refuah Health Center (MRHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look‑Alike, is seeking a hands‑on, execution‑driven Marketing Specialist to own and manage key marketing channels, with a strong focus on social media, advertising, and community visibility.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, managing campaigns, and seeing measurable results. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Committee on strategy while independently managing day‑to‑day execution across social media, advertising, PR, and events.

The Marketing Specialist will be primarily responsible for:

Producing and submitting ads (digital, print, and community platforms)

Social media marketing and management (content creation + engagement + performance tracking)

Public relations and events (outreach, community partnerships, and visibility initiatives)

Social Media Marketing & Management (Primary Focus)

Own and manage MRHC’s social media presence, including

content creation, posting schedules, engagement, and community management .

Develop and execute campaigns promoting MRHC services, providers, programs, and events.

Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, clicks), and provide recommendations for improvement.

Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across platforms.

Advertising & Promotions

Own the production, coordination, and submission of marketing advertisements across digital, print, and community platforms.

Manage ad timelines, approvals, placements, and vendor coordination.

Ensure all advertisements are accurate, brand‑aligned, and compliant with HIPAA, HRSA, and organizational policies.

Public Relations & Events

Manage public relations outreach to local media, community partners, and external organizations.

Facilitate submission and placement of provider‑authored articles in local publications, newsletters, and online outlets.

Plan and support community outreach initiatives, events, and health fairs, including promotion, coordination, and follow‑up (with scalability over time).

Website & Content Management

Maintain and update website content, including blog posts, campaign highlights, PR features, and event recaps.

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment across all public‑facing materials.

Analytics, Compliance & Administration

Track and report marketing performance metrics, including ad clicks, impressions, engagement, referrals, and new patient volume attributable to marketing efforts.

Coordinate timelines and deliverables with internal departments and external vendors.

Ensure all marketing activities comply with HIPAA, HRSA, and organizational policies.

Maintain organized records of marketing campaigns, materials, and performance data.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field required.

1–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles.

Experience with ad design and content creation for digital and print platforms (Adobe, Canva, or similar tools).

Familiarity with website content management systems and blog updates.

Working knowledge of marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, ad platform metrics).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with committees, clinical staff, and external partners.

Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or community-based organizations preferred.

Bilingual skills a plus.
