About the role Do you enjoy creative problem solving in a customer‑driven environment? Then we invite you to join our dynamic Enova Studios team as a User Experience Designer. We’re looking for a dynamic UX Designer skilled in crafting seamless, user‑centered digital experiences for Enova’s consumer and small business financing brands.

As a UX designer you'll work on the entire design process from the initial stage of understanding customer and business needs, to the final stage of post‑release performance metrics. You will help facilitate internal client kickoffs, user research scoping and design review meetings with cross‑functional teams: Product, Software Engineering, and Marketing.

You will be responsible for delivering journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and reviewing and contributing to the work of your design peers. You will provide insights leveraging AI as appropriate to uncover unique experience perspectives and work practices. By utilizing industry standards, competitor research, user research, performance data, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing you'll communicate and sell ideas with the end goal of making a positive impact on the way customers experience Enova’s businesses.

Responsibilities

Perform desk and user research including competitor analysis, heuristic evaluation, interviews, contextual inquiry and usability testing

Map user experiences including journey maps and service blueprints, analyzing and identifying pain points from the users’ perspective based on research

Collaborate on business problem statements, requirements, KPIs and success metrics/criteria

Prototype designs, from simple wireframes to high‑fidelity and interactive digital mock‑ups using Figma, paying attention to user‑focused information architectures, seamless interactions and elegant visual design

Partner with other creative colleagues to deliver end‑to‑end experiences

Integrate AI as appropriate in work processes and outputs

Maintain accessibility documentation, design system components, wireframe templates and contribute to team processes

Generate ideas through ideation techniques to solve the users’ needs in a way that prioritizes feasibility, desirability, viability, etc.

Stay current with industry leading UX tools and processes

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a practitioner, ideally at a technology or e‑commerce company, with an emphasis on mobile web design

A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience balancing user needs within highly regulated industries

Flexibility and adaptability to revise designs based on feedback from legal, product, marketing and other stakeholders

Expertise in creating and maintaining design systems, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user research findings

Experience with Agile development tools and processes

Familiarity with performance data analysis using tools such as HotJar, FullStory, etc.

HTML, CSS, React, Chromatic, Storybook knowledge is preferred, not required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full‑time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits.
