
Summary
As a Senior Copywriter, you are a well-seasoned writer and natural storyteller with a distinct, poetic voice. You consistently develop smart, brand-building ideas that are on brief, culturally relevant, and emotionally resonant. You have a unique ability to take highly technical or science-based concepts from ingredients to nutrition to product innovation and translate them into language that is clear, accessible, and inspiring.
This role blends big-picture thinking with hands-on craft. You'll own projects from concept through production, partner cross-functionally with Design, Production, and Marketing, and help mentor junior creatives - raising the bar for creative excellence across the team.
Responsibilities
Lead and own creative work from brief to execution with minimal oversight
Concept and develop disruptive, insight-driven ideas and campaigns that build the Chobani brand
Write across multiple formats including campaigns, packaging, manifests, scripts, digital, social, retail, and content
Translate complex, technical, or nutrition-focused information into simple, engaging, consumer-friendly storytelling
Ensure all work is strategically grounded and aligned to brand and business objectives
Self-edit and refine copy to deliver clear, compelling, and on-brand language
Partner closely with designers, producers, and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life with craft and consistency
Own presentations and confidently share work and rationale with internal stakeholders and leadership
Manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Oversee copy through production and post-production, ensuring the creative vision is executed at a high level
Champion and evolve Chobani's voice, tone, and storytelling standards
Requirements
6-8+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency or in-house)
Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and brand-building creative across channels
Exceptional storytelling skills with a clear, distinctive voice and strong command of craft
Proven ability to simplify complex or technical topics into approachable, engaging language
Production experience with shoots, content creation, or integrated campaigns
Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
Strong presentation and communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Experience in CPG or food & beverage brands is a plus

The salary range for this full-time position is $121,000.00 - $190,300.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
