ABOUT THE PODCAST PRODUCER POSITION The Health Institute is seeking a world-class Podcast Producer to lead the creative, strategic, and operational direction of The Dr. Josh Axe Show — led by Dr. Josh Axe, a NYT best-selling author, former founder of Ancient Nutrition and DrAxe.com, and leading holistic health personality. It is a top-ranking Health & Wellness podcast with over 2.5 million YouTube subscribers and four hundred thousand monthly audio listeners.

This is not a traditional production role. The Dr. Josh Axe Show is a standalone media business with significant sponsorship revenue, and it also serves as a core marketing tool and lead generator for The Health Institute’s cellular health services. The Podcast Producer owns the show as both a content brand and a growth channel — driving audience expansion, revenue alignment, and long-term franchise value through world-class programming and flawless execution.

This role sits at the intersection of:

Editorial strategy Talent management Audience psychology Revenue and sponsorship alignment Creative direction End-to-end production excellence

You will be the final creative and operational authority on what goes live, when it goes live, how it’s positioned, and how it supports both the business and the brand of Dr. Josh Axe.

YOU’RE PERFECT FOR THE HEALTH INSTITUTE IF… You think like a showrunner, strategist, and operator all at once. You deeply understand audience psychology, cultural timing, and how to build loyalty through content. You’ve led high-visibility media or podcast properties and thrive under both creative and business accountability. You’re exceptional at managing high-level talent with nuance, clarity, and trust. You are obsessed with quality, pacing, storytelling, and packaging. You can zoom out to annual content strategy and zoom in to a single hook, title, or intro line. You naturally think in seasons, arcs, and editorial calendars — not just episodes. You understand sponsorships, brand alignment, and monetization without compromising audience trust. You’re highly organized, forward-thinking, and calm under pressure. You are passionate about health, functional medicine, and transforming lives through education.
