
Marketing Fellow (ATH PROFL 1 BYA)

Overview
Under close supervision of the Assistant Director, Marketing, help execute sales and promotional plans with the goal of increasing student, fan and community engagement for UC Davis' 25-sport intercollegiate athletics programs.
Assist in facilitating partnership opportunities on campus and in the community including student and staff based promotions, work with local organizations in Davis, Woodland and Dixon to have presence at events such as farmers markets and fairs. Work football and basketball game days as well as promotional days for our Olympic sports and community events. Assist in planning and executing our Junior Aggie program. Serve as a coordinator with UC Davis Cheer, Band, and Dance teams.
Lead student marketing intern program to recruit up to 40 student volunteers to assist with event planning and execution including oversight of our Gunrock mascot program.
Minimum Qualifications
no Minimum Education required.
Experience with the most common social media platforms.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with such programs as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrated).
Background in customer service.
Graduate from UC Davis within the last year.
