Overview of the Role Our Commercial segment focuses on working with customers and organizations with 200‑4,500 employees. As an Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced team with various customers and receive personalized training and career opportunities. As an Informatica Account Executive, you will partner with companies to uncover and drive complex digital transformation strategies, utilizing Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). In this role, you will be working directly with C‑level executives and partnering with an account team to drive customer business objectives and outcomes. Horizontal alignment: verticals and/or clouds you may be aligned to include: Financial Services Healthcare & Life Sciences Retail & Consumer Goods Communication, Media and Tech Manufacturing, Automotive, & Engineering Consumer & Business Services Responsibilities Engage with existing customers and new leads, building strong, positive, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and C‑suite decision makers. Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting. Close opportunities at assigned existing accounts and drive sales at new accounts. Drive sales within assigned segment and acquire new logos within assigned territory. Speak to Informatica business offerings as they relate to the customer’s needs and engage other resources as required. Differentiating Informatica and Salesforce solutions based on differences in business drivers, personas, and trends for accounts. Articulate what drives an industry. Manage a high volume of accounts and sales. Qualifications Average of 5+ years of experience preferred in full cycle sales, with at least 3 years in the field and a proven track record of success. Experience managing a list of 2‑20 accounts, 100% existing customers OR 50‑200 accounts, 100% new logo. Experience selling to the C‑suite and in a matrixed selling environment preferred. Experience selling technical platforms preferred. Integration / API market awareness. Ability to build and deliver presentations to customers. Ability to strategize with a large extended team. The typical base salary range for this position is $77,550‑$164,850 annually; a different range applies to specific locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range is $85,300‑$181,000 per year.
