strategy that turns SoCal relationships into multi-city, multi-year, high-value group business
Own the full sales cycle: prospect → pitch → negotiate → celebrate → repeat
Drive group pace and maximize
RevPAR
like it’s a competitive sport
Analyze
STR
reports and market data to out-smart the comp set
Partner with marketing, revenue, and operations to deliver experiences that make planners say, “Let’s rebook for next year”
Represent the resort at industry events, client sites, and anywhere good business (or good tacos) can be found

in a full-service hotel or resort (you know your way around a convention diagram and a closing dinner)

across San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and/or San Francisco
Deep knowledge of
SoCal demand generators —corporate HQs, associations, and the planners who actually make decisions
Negotiation skills that would make a procurement manager nervous (in a respectful, professional way)
Fluency in
Delphi.fdc, Salesforce, Amadeus, Cvent , and the fine art of turning data into deals
The ability to read an
STR
report without blinking
