Core Responsibilities Customer Relationship & Retention
Serve as a trusted advisor to established accounts, delivering proactive support and tailored insights
Conduct regular business reviews and resolve issues to enhance customer satisfaction
Gather stakeholder insights to inform strategy and anticipate competitive threats
Collaborate with internal teams to secure renewals and protect existing business
Account Management & Growth
Develop strategic account plans to expand value and profitability
Lead pricing, contract negotiation, proposals, and bid preparation
Use CRM and analytics platforms (e.g., SFDC, PowerBI) for forecasting and pipeline management
Support new account onboarding and drive retention and product utilization
Manage and train third‑party distributor sales teams to ensure effective market representation
Maintain strong competitive and product knowledge across assigned diagnostic lines (e.g., ID NOW, BinaxNOW, Determine, Clearview product families)
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, and Contracting teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience
Provide forecasts, field insights, and performance updates to leadership
Address escalated customer challenges with cross‑functional support
Adhere to all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
5+ years of successful medical sales experience, ideally in diagnostics
Strong knowledge of lab and point‑of‑care environments and health system operations
Ability to travel within the territory (up to ~35% overnight)
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in business, healthcare, or life sciences
Experience with distributor partnerships
Strong financial acumen and market analysis skills
Proven success in complex selling, planning, and negotiation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
