A Day in the Life The Medtronic Pelvic Health Sales Representative manages territory-based business and growth by initiating, supporting, and developing strategic implanting centers and assisting in developing key referral networks in certain geographies. The role also has primary responsibility for development of referral networks, acts as primary account/implanter relationship contact for assigned territory’s customer needs including account-level reimbursement responsibility, and coordinates all support activities and sales partnerships with distribution alliances.
This is a
field-based
role. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license is essential.
Responsibilities
Selling Pelvic Health devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other appropriate medical staff.
Partnering with strategic implanting centers to develop the account/implanter practice.
Providing product and therapy technical support and service.
Consulting on strategic management and analysis of trends.
Utilizing appropriate Neuro business partners to present marketing and business plans to accounts for territory development and growth.
Other activities as assigned by sales leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years of experience*
Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience*
Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience*
*Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
Nice to Have
Solid knowledge of the reimbursement climate.
Experience calling on physicians in Neurology, Urology, Colo-Rectal Surgeons.
Experience developing new, innovative markets.
Experience making multiple referral calls daily.
Familiarity with the OR.
Business planning/consulting and territory financial analysis skills; knowledge of managed care.
Experience with physiology/clinical therapies.
Experience with implantable devices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills.
Team oriented.
Conceptual/consultative sales skills.
Understanding of quality policy/system items applicable.
Ability to follow work/quality procedures to ensure compliance.
Other Job Requirements
Function using healthcare universal precautions to minimize exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
Primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events; may be required to work weekends, evenings, nights and overnight travel.
Work efficiently and autonomously when outside of clinical events.
Attend national meetings, district meetings and other training as requested.
Wear a 7-9 lbs protective lead apron in the operating room.
Lift up to 40 pounds.
Sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day.
Bend/stoop, squat and balance frequently.
Specific vision abilities required (close vision, distance vision, depth perception, focus adjustment).
Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance; will be reviewed as part of application. Must drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory.

Benefits & Compensation Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations:
$75,000.00 - $75,000.00
(base salary). Eligible for Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
