Our award-winning, New York City–based media company is celebrating 20+ years of publishing The Architect’s Newspaper. In addition to that title, AN Media Group also publishes AN Interior, a magazine of interiors realized by architects. We serve up news via print, digital, and events to a community of architects, engineers, designers, academics, developers, contractors, and others interested in the built environment. Beyond our publications, AN Media Group draws thousands of professionals to our Facades+ conferences held across the country, along with showroom events and partner-hosted programs. The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Associate to own and execute marketing activations across AN events, awards programs, and special projects. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the organization to take ideas from concept to launch—shaping timelines, messaging, and execution along the way. In this role, you’ll create compelling, data-informed content for email, social, and other digital channels, turning insights and trends into high-quality marketing campaigns. You’re comfortable experimenting, learning new tools, and using both quantitative and qualitative data to continuously improve performance. This role will report to the AN’s CEO. Responsibilities
Liaison with outside clients to develop marketing promotions for events Manage internal teams via marketing print, email, digital and social media to support the brands and sales teams Document all campaigns analytics, reporting on trends and developing ideas in response to the data Manage event preparation and execution, training, and analytics Required Skills
Experience with email marketing and analytics, Youtube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook with the ability to build out campaigns, videos and content that grows followers and engagement Manage projects across teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Monday.com Has polished written and verbal communication skills.
Is detail-oriented, highly organized and has the ability to schedule events, meet deadlines and exceed expectations. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic small-business environment Able to travel if necessary
