This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and assists with operational tasks related to social media, content, and influencer campaigns. We are seeking someone who can represent the brand professionally to our partners and bring creativity and trend awareness to our marketing. To succeed, you must reliably track and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines and proactively communicate with your manager and partners.

Responsibilities

Social Media

Develop, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms, including posting daily on Instagram & TikTok and weekly on Pinterest.

Monitor social media trends, engagement, and competitor activity to optimize content strategy and provide data and analysis to back up observations.

Participate in community engagement on social media, including responding to comments and DMs.

Collaborate with Graphic Designer to create visually compelling content.

Influencer Campaigns

Identify, vet, and build relationships with influencers that align with the brand and current business goals.

Assist in developing campaign briefs.

Coordinate influencer campaigns, including outreach, negotiations, contracts, content approvals, invoice approvals, and other logistics.

Maintain an organized database of influencer partnerships.

Content Development

Pitch video ideas for the Good Molecules organic social media platforms.

Identify and source content creators for both organic and paid media needs; facilitate projects from initial outreach to final asset delivery.

Coordinate weekly video assignments with freelance creators, review content, provide feedback, and approve videos.

Occasionally produce your own content (filming and editing videos); you should be willing to appear in the content when needed.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in social media marketing, influencer partnerships, or digital marketing for a direct‑to‑consumer brand, preferably in the beauty/personal care space or similar.

Familiarity with the Good Molecules brand, including products, aesthetic, and social media presence.

General knowledge of the skincare industry, including ingredients, application, trends, popular brands/products, etc.

Active on social media (especially Instagram and/or TikTok) with demonstrated experience producing engaging content and a strong understanding of social media trends and internet culture.

Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines; you should be able to work with minimal day‑to‑day supervision and maintain productivity.

Exceptional professional communication to build relationships with influencers, proactively provide updates to manager, and receive feedback.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.

Ability to analyze data, present it effectively, and make data‑driven decisions.

Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

Familiarity with business communication and project management platforms such as Slack, Zoom, Airtable, Notion, etc.

Other Requirements

This is a hybrid role located in San Francisco and requires a minimum of 1 day per week in‑office; you must be able to set up an adequate WFH/remote office with reliable internet access.

Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including ability to schedule meetings with coworkers during regular business hours and post/participate in social media engagement during activity peaks.

Must be eligible to work in the US.

Fluent in written and verbal professional English.

Must be age 18+.

This is a full‑time (~40 hr/wk) exempt position. The target salary range is $72,000–$75,000; final offer may vary based on location and experience.
