You’ll have access to structured training, hands-on mentorship, proven systems, Follow Up Boss CRM, and an established Chicago-area database. When you have a question or hit a roadblock, you will get an answer — quickly. Our training program is a true commitment. Some sessions are face-to-face, some are online, and yes, there is homework. Most agents say they want training; we actually provide it. In return, we expect new agents to put in the effort to learn and apply what we teach. This is not passive learning — it’s active participation designed to help you become confident and competent as quickly as possible. We are also co-founders of Bikes & Music, a Chicagoland nonprofit that refurbishes and donates bicycles and musical instruments to local youth. Community involvement is part of our identity — not a marketing slogan. Compensation & Fees (Full Transparency) Commission Split: 80/20 (80% to agent, 20% to StartingPoint Realty) after your first four buyer or seller transactions Company-Provided Buyer or Seller transaction: 60/40 split for that deal Quarterly Fee: $275 (primarily allocated to E&O insurance and brokerage overhead) No hidden fees. No surprise caps. No vague language. Expectations & Culture (Please Read Carefully) We believe culture is built through participation, not posters on a wall. This is not a heavy time commitment, but it is a real one. Monthly Market Zoom Every 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM Market updates, Q&A, strategy discussions If you cannot attend, this is not the right brokerage for you Annual Client Appreciation Event Fully paid for by StartingPoint Realty All agents are expected to attend Past events include White Sox games, Ravinia concerts, Chicago Fire matches, and Arlington Park (back in the day) gatherings. One event per year. Quarter 1 Team Dinner & Cocktails In-person team meet-up to align goals and build relationships Communication Tools - Not mandatory but encouraged Slack channel for daily collaboration, questions, and shared wins Weekly Accountability call every Monday morning at 8:45am We operate with 100% participation culture.
