ROLE OVERVIEW Sport Fishing Championship (SFC) is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to bring the league’s visual identity to life across digital, social, broadcast, and print platforms. This role plays a key part in shaping how fans, angling clubs, sponsors, and media experience the league—on and off the water.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design compelling graphics for social media, website, email campaigns, and mobile platforms
Create event branding for tournaments, live broadcasts, fan activations and promotional assets
Collaborate with the marketing, sales, social media, video, and partnerships teams to support league initiatives.
Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials
Prepare production-ready files for print, signage, merchandise, and large-format displays
Assist with creative concepts for season launches, major events, and sponsor campaigns
Create internal and external facing presentations including pitch proposal materials
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines during tournament season
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of professional graphic design experience (sports, lifestyle, or entertainment preferred)
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) as well as PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Canva
Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and brand systems
Experience designing for social media and digital-first platforms
An understanding of current sports design trends and the desire for continuous skill building
Ability to take creative direction and also work independently
Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
Must be based in and work on-site at SFC Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX
Nights and weekends on call / as needed availability during SFC league events and tournament season
Ability to travel within and outside of the country. Must have active passport
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with sports leagues, teams, or outdoor lifestyle brands
Familiarity with offshore fishing, boating, or coastal culture
Experience designing templates or workflows for fast-paced content production
BONUS: Basic motion graphics or animation experience (After Effects or similar)
